Inland Corporation ("Inland," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This notice explains how we handle personal data that we receive from job applicants, candidates, referrals, and prospective employees as part of our recruitment and hiring process.

Please read this notice before submitting an application or any recruitment-related document. When you send us your resume, curriculum vitae, credentials, or other application information, or when you take part in interviews, assessments, or related hiring activities, you acknowledge that Inland will process your personal data as described below.

1. About Inland Corporation

Inland Corporation is a total logistics company. In the ordinary course of recruitment, we collect and use applicant information so we can evaluate candidates, communicate with them, comply with legal requirements, and manage our hiring records responsibly.

2. Personal Data We May Collect

The personal data we collect depends on the position applied for, the information you choose to provide, and the stage of the recruitment process. It may include the following:

  • identification and contact details, including your name, address, mobile or telephone number, email address, and other information included in your application documents;
  • application and career information, including your resume or CV, employment history, job titles, skills, qualifications, certifications, professional licenses, portfolio, references, and interview notes;
  • education and training information, including schools attended, academic qualifications, training records, awards, and related credentials;
  • screening and assessment information, including interview results, test or assessment results, reference check feedback, background verification results, and similar evaluation records, where applicable and lawful;
  • government-issued or legally required information, including identification details and information needed for pre-employment requirements or onboarding, where applicable; and
  • technical information collected through recruitment websites, forms, or systems, where applicable.

3. How We Collect Personal Data

We may collect personal data directly from you and, when permitted by law, from legitimate third-party or publicly available sources. This may happen through:

  • applications submitted through Inland managed careers pages, online forms, emails, job portals, recruitment platforms, or similar channels;
  • documents you provide, such as resumes, CVs, application forms, credentials, identification documents, and other supporting records;
  • interviews, examinations, assessments, and communications by phone, email, messaging tools, video conference, or in person;
  • professional networking platforms when you have made your profile available or have communicated with Inland through those platforms; and
  • references, background check providers, testing platforms, recruitment agencies, job boards, and other recruitment service providers, where relevant and lawful.

4. When We Collect Personal Data

We may collect your personal data when you inquire about a role, submit an application, communicate with us, take part in interviews or assessments, undergo pre-employment screening, or complete onboarding-related steps. We collect additional information only when it is necessary for the relevant stage of the recruitment process or when required by law.

5. Why We Use Personal Data

Inland processes applicant and recruitment data for legitimate recruitment, employment, compliance, security, and administrative purposes, including to:

  • receive, review, evaluate, and process employment applications;
  • assess qualifications, skills, experience, suitability, and fit for current or future roles;
  • communicate with you about your application, interview schedules, requirements, results, and other recruitment matters;
  • conduct assessments, reference checks, background checks, or verification activities, when applicable and lawful;
  • manage recruitment records, hiring decisions, reports, audit trails, and administrative activities;
  • comply with applicable labor, employment, data privacy, regulatory, legal, and government requirements; and
  • protect the rights, safety, property, and legitimate interests of Inland Corporation, its employees, applicants, clients, and business partners.

6. Legal Bases for Processing

We process personal data only when there is a lawful basis to do so. Depending on the situation, this may include your consent, steps taken before entering into a possible employment contract, compliance with legal or regulatory obligations, Inland’s legitimate interests in managing recruitment and protecting its business, and the establishment, exercise, or defense of lawful claims.

7. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell applicant personal data. We share it only when necessary, lawful, and proportionate, including with:

  • authorized Inland personnel, such as Human Resources, hiring managers, interviewers, and departments involved in recruitment and hiring;
  • service providers that support recruitment, including background check providers, assessment platforms, recruitment agencies, job boards, IT service providers, cloud hosting providers, and professional advisers;
  • clients or business partners, when a role or placement requires coordination with them and only to the extent needed for evaluation or placement purposes;
  • government agencies, courts, regulators, or law enforcement authorities, when required or permitted by law; and
  • successors, assignees, or parties involved in corporate transactions, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection safeguards.

Where another party processes personal data on our behalf, we require that party to observe appropriate confidentiality, security, and data protection obligations.

8. Retention and Disposal

We keep applicant and recruitment records only for as long as needed for recruitment, hiring, legal, regulatory, audit, dispute-resolution, and legitimate business purposes. If you are not selected, we may retain your personal data for six (6) months to one (1) year, unless a longer period is required or allowed by law, you agree to a longer retention period for future opportunities, or the information is needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

After the applicable retention period, we will securely delete, anonymize, archive, or otherwise dispose of personal data using reasonable safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

9. Security Measures

Inland uses reasonable physical, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction. These measures may include access controls, secure storage, confidentiality obligations, user authentication, restricted access, security monitoring, and secure disposal practices. While we take these safeguards seriously, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Subject to applicable laws and regulations, you may exercise your rights as a data subject, including the right to be informed, access your personal data, object to processing, request rectification, request erasure or blocking, claim damages where appropriate, request data portability, and withdraw consent when processing is based on consent. Requests may be subject to identity verification and lawful limitations.
